What's covered

Workmanship warranty

Every Macchina Mods PC is covered from the delivery date against defects in our assembly work: faulty cable management causing shorts, improper component installation, inadequate thermal paste application, and other assembly-related failures. Coverage length depends on the type of build:

Build type	Workmanship coverage
Prebuilt PCs	12 months
Drops (used parts)	6 months
Custom builds	3 months

If something we did causes a problem, we'll fix it free of charge, including return shipping within the contiguous United States and Canada. International warranty service (the UK, the EU, Norway, Switzerland, Australia, and New Zealand) follows the terms in our Shipping Policy.

Component Warranties

Individual parts (CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM, storage, PSU, case, cooler, fans) are covered under their original manufacturer warranties, which typically range from one year to lifetime depending on the part. We will provide proof of purchase and assist with manufacturer RMA claims at no charge during your workmanship-warranty period; after that, we can still assist for a flat handling fee. Used or refurbished components, for example, in budget Drop builds or when you request a specific used part, are sold as-is with no separate component warranty, though your statutory rights still apply. We'll always tell you up front which parts, if any, are used.

Compatibility Guarantee

We guarantee that every component in your build is compatible and will function together as specified at the time of sale. If a compatibility issue arises that is our fault, we will repair or replace at no cost.

What's not covered

The warranty is void or does not apply in the following cases:

• Physical damage from drops, impacts, or mishandling
• Liquid damage
• Damage from power surges (we recommend a surge protector or UPS)
• Damage caused by overclocking beyond factory-tuned settings we delivered
• Modifications, repairs, or component swaps performed by anyone other than Macchina Mods (tamper-evident seals are placed on each build)
• Damage from improper transport (e.g., shipping the PC without removing the GPU when instructed)
• Cosmetic wear and tear
• Software issues unrelated to our build (driver conflicts caused by user-installed software, OS corruption, malware)
• Consumable items (thermal paste degradation after extended use, fan bearings past their rated lifespan)

Your statutory rights

This workmanship warranty is offered in addition to, and does not limit, your statutory rights, including the EU's 2-year legal guarantee, the UK Consumer Rights Act, the Australian Consumer Law, and the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act.

How to request warranty service

Email support@macchinamods.com with your order number, a description of the issue, photos or video if applicable, and your shipping address. We will issue an RMA number within two (2) business days. Do not ship anything to us without an RMA, unauthorized returns will be refused. Our standard turnaround once we receive the unit is seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days. We cover return shipping for valid in-warranty claims via insured ground freight.
